TYLER, Texas – The Tyler Junior College Women's Soccer team tied with LSU-Eunice 1-1 on Friday, Sept.12.
The Apaches moved to 2-0-3 on the season, and 1-0-2 in conference play. LSU-Eunice moved to 3-1-3 on the season, and 2-1-2 in conference play.
The Apaches finished with 16 shots on goal, taking the lead late in the 79th minute with a goal from Brianna Garcia, her third on the season.
A goal from Bengals Emily Poste in the 82nd minute gave LSU-Eunice just enough to stay even with the Apaches until the final horn.
