TEMPLE, Texas – The Tyler Junior College Women's Basketball team battled through double overtime Friday night, earning a 67–59 road victory over Temple College.
The Apaches improved to 7-2 on the season, while Temple moved to 7-2 on the year, with both losses on the season coming from the Apaches.
Kennedi Johnson led all scorers with 25 points, adding eight rebounds and three assists. Monica Bottley finished with 17 points, converting nine free throws, while Amarachi Onyekonwu finished just shy of a double-double with eight points and a team-high 15 rebounds.
