TYLER, Texas – Six different Apaches scored in double figures as The Tyler Junior College Women's Basketball team defeated Louisiana State University Eunice (LSUE) on Thursday, Nov. 13.
The no.23 Apaches improved to 4-0 on the year, while LSUE moved to 5-1 on the year.
Apaches Trinity Davis led the way for the tribe with 24 points, shooting 8-15 from the field and 6-13 from behind the arch. TJC guard Taler Thornton finished with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting while adding 11 rebounds for a double-double.
Next up the Apaches head to Snyder, Texas on Thursday, Nov. 20 for a matchup with Howard College at Western Texas College.
