Tyler, TX – The Apaches secured a 66-53 victory over the Paris Dragons in an exciting matchup. TJC came out strong in the first quarter, leading the Dragons 19-13, and built on that momentum with an even stronger second quarter, outscoring Paris 15-6. At the half, the Apaches held a commanding 29-19 lead.
The Dragons, struggling with just two reserves on the bench, mounted a comeback in the third quarter, posting 22 points to the Apaches' 13. However, the late surge wasn't enough, as TJC finished strong in the fourth quarter, scoring 19 points while holding the Dragons to just 12. The Apaches walked away with a 66-53 victory.
Grace Ezebilo led the way for the Apaches, recording a double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds. Da'Lonna Choice also had an outstanding performance, contributing 11 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds.
