PARIS, Texas – Elias Taj netted his team-leading eighth goal of the season as the Tyler Junior College men's soccer team defeated Paris Junior College 1-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
The Apaches improved to 7-0-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play. Paris Junior College moved to 1-4-4 on the season, and 1-4-2 in conference play.
Taj delievered the winning goal in the 40th minute. The win marked the fifth straight shutout for the Apache defense.
