Uwayo Jr, Bell Headline Trio of All-Region Selections for Apaches
The Apache men's basketball team saw three players earn All-Region honors, highlighted by First Team selections for Chris Uwayo Jr. and Caden Bell, while Josiah Hill earned Honorable Mention recognition.
Uwayo played a key role in the Apaches' success this season, appearing in 32 games and averaging 15.1 points per game while shooting 50.0% from the field. He also contributed 3.0 assists per game and shot 79.9% from the free throw line, adding 1.6 rebounds per contest while serving as a steady all-around presence.
Bell delivered an outstanding offensive season, leading the team with 15.5 points per game. He shot an impressive 52.0% from the field and 47.1% from three-point range, establishing himself as one of the region's top perimeter threats. Bell also averaged 2.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game while shooting 73.4% from the free throw line.
Hill appeared in 32 games and averaged 8.1 points per game while shooting 52.2% from the field. He added 6.0 rebounds per game, providing a strong presence in the paint, and converted 71.9% of his free throw attempts.
