PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Tyler Junior College shot 54.9 percent from the field and placed four players in double figures Saturday in a 78-62 win over Lamar State College Port Arthur at the Carl A. Parker Multipurpose Center
Tyler (17-8, 11-6) led 35-25 at halftime and outscored Lamar State-Port Arthur 43-37 in the second half to secure the 16-point victory
Chris Uwayo Jr. finished with 14 points and five assists, shooting 4 of 8 from the field and 6 of 8 from the free-throw line. Caden Bell added 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting, and Josiah Hill recorded 11 points and a team-high seven rebounds
