Apaches Fall to #9 Panola in Home Loss

Tyler, TX – The Apaches were defeated by #9-ranked Panola at home this past Wednesday in a tough battle. Despite their efforts, several of the Apaches' consistent scorers struggled to get on the board against the Ponies.
Panola dominated the first half, outscoring the Apaches 41-24. While the Apaches fought hard to close the gap throughout the game, they were unable to keep up in the second half as the Ponies extended their lead, outscoring Tyler 36-31 for a final score of 77-55.
The Ponies had a balanced offensive attack, with several players contributing across the board. The standout performance came from #42 CJ Worsham, who finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
The Apaches are back in action this Saturday, January 27th, on the road against Blinn College at 4 p.m.
