Carsyn Meyers joined Tyler Junior College (TJC) as the Assistant Athletic Director, Sports Information in August of 2025.

A native of Portland, Oregon, Meyers comes to TJC after serving as the Director of Basketball Operations for the Men’s Basketball Program at Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) in Albany, Oregon. In that role, Meyers oversaw the daily operations of the program, coordinated travel and logistics, assisted in recruiting efforts, and managed digital media and content creation for the team.

Prior to his time as Director of Basketball Operations, Meyers spent five years coaching college basketball, developing student-athletes both on and off the court while also contributing to the program’s marketing and visual communications initiatives.

Meyers earned his bachelor’s degree in Digital Communication Arts from Oregon State University and his associate degree from Linn-Benton Community College. During his time at LBCC, he also gained extensive experience in visual communications, sports journalism, marketing, live broadcasting, photography, videography, graphic design, and digital content management.

Meyers brings to Tyler Junior College a strong background in creative storytelling, athletics, and media production, along with a deep passion for sports and student-athlete success.
