Women's Golf Nationals: #9 Apaches 11th after day 1 play

The #9 Tyler Junior College Women's golf team finished day 1 at the NJCAA National Championships in 11th place.  Top scorers were Ayana Dailey (76), in 27th, Thaiz Amezcua (84), and Alejandra Escobar (84), in 48th.  Azul Amezcua (87), finished day 1 in 53rd.  Not all golfers finished the first round on Monday and will finish today.  Championship play continues at the Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida.
